Identity Verification (KYC)

Hola Wallet uses Identity Verification in order to comply with KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations. KYC is a way of identifying and confirming that a customer is who they say they are. It’s a multi-step process that helps to prevent the creation and use of fraudulent accounts. All users are MANDATORILY required to complete their ‘KYC’ or ‘Know Your Customer’ requirements at the earliest to continue using withdrawal services smoothly.

Get started with Identity Verification

1) Log in to your Hola Wallet account

  • Tap “profile picture”

  • Tap “Personal settings”

  • Tap “Verification”

  • Select “KYC verification”

  • Tap “Start KYC”


2) Enter your personal information

Depending on the country you’ve chosen, you’ll need to upload a set of KYC documents. Carefully fill in the details in the respective fields & upload a scanned copy or a photo of your KYC document & your selfie as illustrated in the KYC form.




  • Enter your Full name

  • Enter your Date of birth

  • Choose your sex

  • Enter Your Address

  • Tap Next

  • Tap “Choose your identity type” and Select one

  • Tap “Take a selfie with identity” [Upload a clear selfie with your identity]

  • Tap “Upload proof identity” (Both sides)

  • Tap “Save” Please make sure that all the information entered is consistent with your ID documents. You won’t be able to change it once confirmed.


You have successfully submitted your application. Please wait patiently for the Hola Wallet team to review your data. Once your application has been verified, we will send you an email notification.


The verification process could take up to 120 hours depending on the volume of signups. But we try to be as fast as possible.


If for some reason your account is not approved, the email will mention the possible reason and ask you to make the required changes so we can reverify :)
